Every school day, students across the Huntington Beach City School District (HBCSD) rise to meet challenges, proving that resilience and determination can drive remarkable achievements. This year’s Every Student Succeeding Awards celebrates eight exceptional students from kindergarten through eighth grade, each recognized for their inspiring journeys of personal and academic triumph over adversity.
Selected from each school within HBCSD, these students embody values of courage, perseverance, and integrity. From overcoming personal obstacles to surpassing expectations, their achievements serve as a powerful testament to the strength of our school communities.
Superintendent Dr. Leisa Winston and Board President Mrs. Diana Marks celebrated each student’s success alongside proud family members, dedicated school teams, District leadership, and the Board of Trustees at a heartfelt ceremony. “In HBCSD, every student has a path to thrive, and we see the impact of this commitment daily,” Dr. Winston reflected. “These students remind us that perseverance and support pave the way to the accomplishments we honor today.”
We are proud to introduce the 2025 HBCSD Every Student Succeeding Award recipients:
